Manager Craig Elliott has made a number of new signings, including returning to his former club Boston United to bring in three of his former charges, and Bxton are tipped to be among the challengers this season.
In their opening game, they drew with Boston at the Silverlands Stadium, conceding a 94th-minute equaliser.
For the opening Saturday of the new season Saints were on the road at Chorley, the game resulting in another 1-1 score-line. Played in awful weather conditions it was a hard-fought encounter that saw Saints take the lead through Alfie Bates late in the first half before The Magpies levelled on the hour. Morgan Roberts’ red card will see the Brackley striker ruled out for three games. As in many matches, the game had five yellow cards and seven minutes of added time under the referees’ new guidance.

The car park at St James Park is limited and spaces cost £5 per car.
Please note that car park spaces cannot be reserved and are on a first-come-first-served basis.
DISABLED SUPPORTERS:
There are a limited number of Blue Badge spaces at St James Park.
