A depleted Saints side returned from the long midweek trip to Southport with a hard-fought point to extend the unbeaten run to nine games.
Falling behind to Chris Doyle’s second-minute effort the visitors fought back to level on the half-hour as Callum Stead fired into the top corner. Jimmy Armson put Roger Johnson’s side in front on 62 minutes, Armson hooking the ball beyond keeper Tony McMillan before Brackley came under late pressure.
The ball was scrambled away after a corner before Jordan Archer headed wide when well placed in a let off and then Declan Evans grabbed the equaliser on 75 minutes as Brackley failed to clear, the cross came in and Evans headed in unmarked. Danny Lewis was again called into action late on as Brackley held on to a deserved away point.
