After a fine run of form of ten games unbeaten in the league Saints turn to Isuzu FA Trophy Rd 2 action on Saturday with a tough trip to National League South Braintree Town.

Last Saturday’s late win over a strong Curzon Ashton side took Roger Johnson’s side top going into this mini-break for the Trophy. They take on Essex side Braintree who are themselves enjoying a very good season. Currently 5th in National South, Iron are unbeaten at home and will approach Saturday’s tie full of confidence.

Ciaren Jones has returned to Brackley after his loan spell at Hitchin Town to boost the squad after a frenetic few weeks of midweek games that saw 6 games in 19 days, stretching a small squad.
