On Tuesday 21 October, the Premier League Trophy will be at Brackley Town’s St James Park for the club’s National League Cup fixture against Everton Under-21s.
The match follows The Saints’ victory over Manchester United U21s in their previous outing in the competition, in front of a bumper attendance of 2,942.
This is a great opportunity for fans and locals to get a rare, close-up look at the famous trophy and to take photos with it from 6pm before the match kicks off at 19:45.
Since 2002, Brackley Town has accessed more than £496,000 in grants from the Premier League Stadium Fund to help with infrastructure upgrades at St James Park, including conversion to energy-efficient LED floodlights, construction of the club house, and pitch irrigation and maintenance.
Works this summer following the club’s promotion into the National League as National League North Champions have included new turnstiles and a TV gantry.
Now celebrating its 25th anniversary year, the Premier League Stadium Fund has supplied more than £214 million, since 2000, to upgrade infrastructure at over 1,000 men’s and women’s clubs throughout the English Football League, National League and football pyramid.
The Premier League has invested £1.6 billion into football and communities throughout England and Wales across three seasons [2022-25].
