Brackley Town would like to thank Scott Pollock for his contribution to the football club following confirmation that he will leave the Saints this summer to pursue a full-time football opportunity.
Scott was offered the opportunity to remain at St James Park and the club was keen to retain his services for the 2026/27 season. However, after careful consideration, he has decided to take the opportunity to continue his career in full-time football.
Since joining the club in June 2024, Scott has made 79 appearances and scored 12 goals in a Brackley Town shirt, playing an important role during one of the most successful periods in the club's history.
A popular figure amongst teammates and supporters alike, Scott was a key member of the squad that secured the National League North title in 2024/25, helping the Saints achieve promotion to the National League for the first time in the club's history.
Speaking about his departure, Scott said:
"Firstly I just want to say thank you!
Thank you to the fans, the staff, the players and everyone else behind the scenes at Brackley for making the last two years so enjoyable!
From the first minute I was there, I knew it was a special club, and it's been an absolute pleasure to have shared so many great memories. From FA Cup runs, to of course winning the league, which will always stand out as one of my favourite footballing memories.
I genuinely wish everyone at Brackley all the best for the future, and again a massive thank you for everything!"
Everyone at Brackley Town would like to thank Scott for everything he has given to the football club over the past two seasons and wish him every success for the future.
Preparations for the 2026/27 season continue at pace, with manager Andy Whing and his staff working hard behind the scenes to strengthen the squad ahead of the new campaign.
