Following a busy pre-season schedule, the club has taken the precautionary decision to manage the players’ workload, with our focus firmly on ensuring the squad is in the best possible shape for the start of the new season.

Attention now turns to Saturday 1 August, when Maidenhead United visit St James Park for our first home friendly of the summer.

The fixture will give supporters their first opportunity to see Andy Whing’s new-look Brackley Town squad in action on home soil as preparations for the 2026/27 campaign continue.
