NEXT UP: PETERBOROUGH SPORTS V BRACKLEY TOWN - MONDAY 28TH AUGUST - VANARAMA NATIONAL LEAGUE NORTH

It's a Bank Holiday Monday trip to Peterborough for Brackley Town.

Gavin Cowan takes his Saints side to Peterborough Sports for a Bank Holiday Monday clash just 48 hours after the home draw with a spirited Southport team. Kick-off is 3pm.

Brackley are one of only three teams still unbeaten with five games played.

Dom McHale returned to the squad for Saturday’s game following injury while Morgan Roberts was included after his suspension. Both made appearances from the bench, their first since the opening day at Chorley.

Brackley visited The Turbines for a first-ever away match at this level last season. Peterborough came out on top in that February game with debutant Jordon Crawford on the score-sheet. Crawford returns on Monday in a Brackley Town shirt.

Peterborough have started the season well with two wins and a draw from the opening five games and come into the match after a 1-0 win over Hereford on Saturday.

Speaking after Saturday’s home game Cowan looked forward to Monday’s short trip to Peterborough: “It’s a tough place to go and the lads have to show a tough mentality with such a quick turn-around. But everybody is in the same boat. We have to go there to do everything we can to get three points.”

Our media team will provide live match commentary and a live feed on Twitter.
