NEXT UP: DARLINGTON V BRACKLEY TOWN - VANARAMA NATIONAL LEAGUE NORTH

Chris Tymon18 Aug 2023 - 17:00

Brackley travel to Darlington on Saturday for a second away trip of the new season.

In the first midweek game of the season Saints won against newly promoted Bishop’s Stortford while Darlington lost at Scunthorpe United.

Injuries restricted manager Gavin Cowan’s options on Tuesday evening and with Morgan Roberts still missing through suspension it may be some time before the squad returns to full strength.

When the sides met at Blackwell Meadows last October they produced a thrilling game that ended 2-2. The return fixture in April saw Brackley win 3-0, with Alfie Bates on the score-sheet from the penalty spot.

Darlington FC have asked that the following be highlighted for all supporters attending Blackwell Meadows:

The club will not tolerate, for example, homophobic, misogynistic or racist chanting at any individual who is either playing in, volunteering, or attending the game. If you witness any act of hate, discrimination or abusive behaviour at Blackwell Meadows, you can confidentially report it by the following methods:

· Via a Steward
· Text on our designated number 07897031883
· E mail the club with details on report@darlingtonfc.org

We ask all supporters to report incidents and the most efficient way to do this is by speaking directly to a steward. However, in situations where this is not possible, supporters should use the text reporting service, providing as much detail regarding the incident as possible. For example, where the incident has taken place, where the offender is located, where the person reporting the abuse is located.

Our media team will be providing full match commentary from 2.55pm and a live Twitter feed with pre-match, half-time and full-time reports from Darlington on BBC Radio Oxford and BBC Radio Northampton.
