MATCH PREVIEW:
Playing in the EFL Championship just over 10 years ago, Yeovil haven’t managed to reach those same heights since winning the League One play-offs in 2013. The Glovers would be in the sixth tier just 2 seasons ago before their title winning season, finishing a staggering 11 points clear of Chelmsford in 2nd.
Earlier this season, it would be a close-knit encounter in Somerset, where The Glovers won 2-1 thanks to a Late strike from now Saints striker Ben Wodskou.
Woskou, Byron Pendleton and Saints fans-favourite Scott Pollock are currently 3 ex-Yeovil players among the Brackley ranks, where all would love to make a mark against their old employer.
Key Players:
Running the show from the middle of the park is Luke McCormick, since joining from Bristol Rovers in the summer, McCormick has come to Huish Park with a point to prove. The former Chelsea youngster is in the best form of his career so far and with 10 goal involvements halfway through the season, McCormick would be awarded with a new deal until the summer of 2028.
Playing the full 90 in his last 13 games, Jake Wannell has Played the most minutes at Huish Park. The towering centre half has been the first name on the Glovers team sheet all season.
The Man in Charge:
Billy Rowley joined Yeovil from Walton & Hersham in November 2025, He first rose to prominence during his time with Walton & Hersham, playing a key role in their meteoric rise through the non-league pyramid and helping to establish an exciting, front-foot style of football that drew widespread praise.
With Chelsea, Fulham, and Millwall on his footballing CV, Rowley has a point to prove at The Glovers as they look to return to the dizzy heights of the Football League.
