The draw for the 3rd qualifying round brings Isthmian League South East Division side Ramsgate to St James Park for a first ever game between the two sides.

Ben Smith’s Ramsgate have enjoyed recent success, finishing as runners-up and missing out on promotion in successive seasons. Last time out they amassed 106 goals in 38 league games losing just five times with Joe Taylor top scorer across all non-league divisions with over 50 goals to his name. Taylor is already Ramsgate’s top scorer this season having signed on again as his side have made a perfect start with 100% record and progressing through to this stage of the cup.

Ramsgate have a strong cup record making it through seven games to round 2 proper last season including a win over National League Woking in the 1st round and only going out at League Two AFC Wimbledon.

The Rams have beaten Southall, Folkestone Invicta and Broadbridge Heath to reach this stage of the competition, all ties played at home, and have already successfully navigated two early rounds of the FA Trophy.

This is not a segregated game.

50/50 tickets (£1) are on sale in the ground and the Supporters Group is offering the chance to buy a “patch of pitch” (see Ticket Office for details).

LIVE COMMENTARY AND UPDATES
If you cannot get to the game, our media team will be providing full match commentary from 2.55pm, this is available on Mixlr and 3Bs Radio.

Updates will also be on our Twitter feed. BBC Oxford and BBC Northampton will carry live pre-match, half-time and full-time reports.

CAR PARKING:
The car park at St James Park is limited and spaces cost £3 per car.

Please note that car park spaces cannot be reserved and are on a first-come-first-served basis.
