Midfielder O'Sullivan is Gavin Cowan's latest summer signing

Brackley Town are delighted to announce the signing of experienced midfielder Tommy O'Sullivan, 28, following the expiration of his contract at Gloucester City

After starting his career at Cardiff City, O'Sullivan made first-team appearances for the Bluebirds in the League Cup and the FA Cup. He also spent time at Port Vale on loan.

In October 2015 he was named young Welsh player of the year by the Welsh FA. He made 22 appearances for Newport County in League 2 before joining Colchester United in 2017 for an undisclosed fee before heading to Torquay United on loan.

He joined Hereford in 2018 and made 51 appearances for The Bulls scoring 2 goals before signing for National League North rivals Gloucester City in 2020, where he went on to make 83 appearances and scoring 2 goals. O'Sullivan has represented Wales at under-17, under-19, and under-21 level. He scored three goals in 15 competitive under-21 games between 2013 and 2016.

Manager Gavin Cowan had this to say about his latest signing “Tommy brings experience and composure to the team at a great stage in his career. He’s a player that can control games in and out of possession when he needs to and I’m really pleased to have been able to get him over the line.”

Welcome to Brackley Tommy!
