Striker Tahvon Campbell joins Saints on loan from Yeovil Town

Striker arrives at St James Park on loan until the end of the season and goes straight into contention for tonight’s trip to Eastleigh.

Brackley Town can confirm the signing of striker Tahvon Campbell, who joins the Saints on loan from fellow National League side Yeovil Town until the end of the season.

Campbell arrives at St James Park with significant experience across the EFL and National League, adding further attacking options to Andy Whing’s squad as the Saints prepare for an important run of fixtures.

The forward has enjoyed a varied career across the English football pyramid, he started out at West Brom's Youth Team, before playing for the likes of Kidderminster Harriers, Yeovil Town, Cheltenham Town, Woking and Rochdale before linking up with current Saints manager Andy Whing at Solihull Moors, where his goals helped the Moors reach the FA Trophy and National League Play-off finals.

A powerful and hard-working striker, Campbell offers pace, physical presence and experience at this level, and will go straight into contention for tonight’s National League fixture away to Eastleigh.

Brackley Town Manager Andy Whing had this to say about his new signing...
"I’m delighted to be able to work with Tahvon again, he’s a proper number 9 with an instinct to score goals. He’s now got plenty of experience at this level and that will be valuable in a big 11 games coming up for us."

Everyone at Brackley Town would like to welcome Tahvon to the club and thank Yeovil Town for their cooperation in completing the loan agreement.

Welcome to the Saints Tahvon. ?⚪️
