Lowe makes Brackley return.

Brackley Town are delighted to announce that attacker Matt Lowe is returning to St James Park*.

Like Shane Byrne who also returned to St James Park recently, Matt needs no introduction to Brackley supporters, having made over 207 appearances between 2016 and 2022, including a memorable day at Wembley on the 20th May 2018 when he played a vital part in the Saints FA Trophy win as it was his shot that came back off the Bromley post for Gaz Dean to score the rebound and the rest is history.

A strong and powerful runner who can play in a number of positions 'Lowey' left St James Park in June 2022 to sign for League 2 side Accrington Stanley where he started well but unfortunately he suffered long term injuries in his time at the Wham Stadium.

Brackley Town manager Gavin Cowan had this to say about his latest new signing “Our supporters will know what to expect as we bring Matt back to the club. A very exciting, competitive player that is hungry for success and will give us a great outlet in our style of play!”

Welcome back to St James Park Matt.

*Subject to league and FA approval.
