Brackley Town Secure First New Signing of the Season

Brackley Town are delighted to confirm the signing of central defender Kyle Morrison as the club’s first new addition ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

The 29-year-old joins from Kidderminster Harriers, where he played a key role in their defence. Known for his strength, composure on the ball, and leadership at the back, Morrison brings a wealth of experience and quality to the Saints’ defensive ranks.

Manager Gavin Cowan expressed his excitement about the signing:
“Kyle is at a great stage of his career and this move brings both ambition and balance for him. His leadership, character, and ability will be pivotal in helping us achieve our goals this coming season!”

Morrison began his career at Alvechurch and then had spells at Leamington, and AFC Fylde, before enjoying a successful loan stint at Kidderminster Harriers, where he helped the club gain promotion via the play-offs at St James Park, no less. He then made the move to Solihull Moors, featuring more than 30 times last season as they reached the National League play-off final, narrowly missing out on promotion to the EFL via penalties.

His performances at National League level have earned him a reputation as one of the division’s most dependable centre-halves.

Speaking about his move, Morrison said:
“I'm really pleased to join Brackley Town. It’s a club that’s always been tough to play against, and I’m looking forward to being part of the project here. I want to help the team push on in the National League.”

Kyle will join up with his new teammates when pre-season training begins later this month.

Welcome to St James Park Mozza!
