The 22 year-old Telford-born stopper joins up with Gavin Cowan's Saints on a month's loan from the EFL League One side .
Young began his career with Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he developed through their youth system and spent time on loan at Matlock, Dartford, AFC Telford United and Buxton, where he played against the Saints in our 0-0 away draw last season.
He signed for Shrewsbury Town in August 2024 following a successful trial, he played for the Shrews in their pre-season friendly at St James Park in July.
Brackley Town manager Gavin Cowan had this to say about his latest signing "Joe has experience at our level and is highly thought of at Shrewsbury. Myself and my Goalkeeper Coach Ali Worby feel Joe is the right fit for us and we look forward to seeing him in action.”
Welcome to St James Park Joe!
