Striker Danny Newton has returned to Brackley Town on loan from Harborough Town until the end of January 2026.
Danny is a hugely popular figure at St James Park following his previous spell with the club, where his hard work, physical presence and eye for goal made him a firm fans’ favourite. His return provides a significant boost to Gavin Cowan’s squad as we move into a busy period of league and cup action.
The forward is available for selection immediately, including today’s home fixture against York City at St James Park.
Manager Gavin Cowan welcomed the signing, saying:
“I'm delighted Danny is back! He is someone who knows the club, knows the supporters and knows what we’re about. He brings energy, experience and a real goal threat. We’re really pleased to have him back with us.”
Danny Newton becomes the latest addition to the squad as the Saints look to build momentum heading into the winter schedule. Everyone at Brackley Town is thrilled to see him back in red and white, and we wish him the very best for his next spell at the club.
Welcome home, Danny.
