NEW SIGNING: ADI YUSSUF JOINS BRACKLEY TOWN

Brackley Town is delighted to announce the signing of Adi Yussuf upon his release from Gateshead

The Tanzanian-born striker has enjoyed spells in the football league and has made over 150 appearances for a number of clubs in the fifth tier, scoring over 79 career goals.

The 30-year-old started his career with Leicester City, playing for their youth and reserve teams, he then played for Burton Albion and Lincoln City before joining Oxford City in the Conference North, he scored 27 goals in 39 appearances for City before joining Mansfield Town.

In the 2018/19 season, Yussuf netted 14 times in 45 league appearances as well as three FA Cup goals, earning him a move to Blackpool. He has also had loan moves at both Wrexham and Chesterfield.

He spent the 21/22 season with Yeovil Town where he scored six goals in all competitions, he moved to Gibraltar side St Joseph's where he played in the UEFA Europa Conference League before signing for Gateshead in September.

A full Tanzanian international, he has made 4 international appearances to date.
