The 19-year-old central midfielder arrives at St James Park after progressing through Birmingham City's academy and gaining valuable National League North experience with Oxford City last season.

Ellis joined Birmingham City at the age of six, progressing through the ranks with the Blues before signing his first professional contract in July 2024.

Having impressed for Birmingham City's Under-18s and Under-21s, Ellis gained his first taste of senior football during a loan spell with Southern League side Stourbridge before stepping up to the National League North with Oxford City, where he continued his development throughout the 2025/26 campaign.

Following his release by Birmingham City this summer, Ellis now joins Brackley Town as Andy Whing continues to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.

Speaking after joining the Saints, Ellis said:

"I'd describe myself as a box-to-box midfielder. I like to get forward, create chances and score goals, but I also enjoy the other side of the game. I want to do my part defensively, win my duels and help the team in every phase. More than anything, I just love winning.

I've got friends who've been here before, and they had nothing but positive things to say about the club. They spoke highly of the people, the environment and the ambition here, so it was a move that really appealed to me. I can't wait to get started."

Ellis becomes Andy Whing's tenth signing of the summer as Brackley Town continues to build its squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.

O'Shea Ellis joins Brackley Town subject to the necessary registration process and approval from the National League and the Football Association.
