The 19-year-old joins Andy Whing's squad ahead of the start of the 2026/27 National League North campaign and adds another attacking option to the Saints' ranks.

Toluwaloju has developed through the youth system at Coventry City and has featured regularly for the Sky Blues at development level.

The young forward gained his first experience of senior football last season during a loan spell with Stratford Town, initially joining the Southern League Premier Division Central side on a short-term deal before remaining with the club for the remainder of the campaign.

His time at Stratford provided Toluwaloju with valuable experience of the men's game, and he now makes the move to St James Park as part of Andy Whing's squad for the opening weeks of the new season.

"Josh is someone that will hopefully surprise a few people. He’s a big strong number 9 who’s been at Coventry City for a while now learning his trade. He’s a different type to what we’ve got and we’re really looking forward to him being involved with us. Again, thank you to Coventry City for trusting Josh with us."

Speaking after joining the Saints, Josh Toluwaloju said:
“I’d describe myself as a hold-up striker who can bring others into the game, help the team get up the pitch and, most importantly, score goals. I play with plenty of energy and hard work because you have to earn the right to play.

“My loan at Stratford Town gave me my first taste of men’s football and taught me some valuable lessons. The aim now is to help Brackley get back into the National League, and I want to be part of that story.”

Toluwaloju joins the Saints on an initial one-month loan from Coventry City, subject to the necessary approval from the National League and The Football Association.
