The versatile defender will be a familiar face to Brackley supporters, having enjoyed an impressive spell at St James Park during the 2025/26 National League campaign.
Pendleton originally joined the Saints on loan from Birmingham City and established himself as an important member of the first-team squad.
Comfortable as a wing-back on either flank, Pendleton offers versatility and energy in the wide defensive positions.
His contribution last season was acknowledged at the club's end-of-season awards, where he collected both the Captain's Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season awards.
The double award was recognition of the impact Pendleton made during his first spell at St James Park, with his performances and commitment earning the respect of those around him.
Having since joined Shrewsbury Town, Pendleton adds further quality and familiarity to Gareth Dean's defensive options as the Saints look to build on recent performances in their National League North campaign.
Speaking after completing his loan move, Byron Pendleton said:
“Having been here last year, I already know the community and the fan base, and it’s something I hadn’t experienced before. It’s like one big family. I loved being here last year, and I’m ecstatic to be back.
“My main aim is to get games under my belt and help Brackley get back to where they deserve to be. It’s about learning, gaining experience and putting in performances that benefit both Brackley and Shrewsbury, while hopefully progressing my own career too.
“I already know quite a few of the lads, which makes coming back even better. It’s a good group, and with Gaz Dean now in charge, I really feel this is the place I want to be.”
