The 33-year-old stepped in as interim first-team manager towards the end of last season and guided his team to make a valiant effort in the playoffs, just falling short in the Promotion Final against Kidderminster Harriers.

"Gaz" joined the Saints in the summer of 2016 from Solihull Moors and has gone on to make 311 appearances and scoring 15 goals.

Manager Gavin Cowan had this to say about Gaz's signing, “I think everyone will agree that signing Gareth is huge for us as a team and a club. Gaz can get back to concentrating on being fit and leading the team into the next season which I’m over the moon with!”
