Brackley Town are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Jonny Maxted has signed a new contract, committing his future to the club for the 2025/26 season.

Maxted joined Brackley last Summer from Newport County and made 50 appearances in a Saints shirt, keeping 22 clean sheets in all competitions and played an essential role in Brackley Town's title winning run.

Brackley Town Manager Gavin Cowan had this to say about Jonny's re-signing “Jonny played a huge part in our league winning campaign and we’re so pleased to have him back. We all need to raise our levels this coming season and that means retaining players that we know can step up and help us be successful again. Our goalkeepers will be integral this season!”

Everyone at Brackley Town is thrilled to see Jonny continue his journey with the club, and we look forward to seeing him back in action in 2025/26.
