Brackley Town are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Alastair Worby is staying at St James Park for the 2024/25 season.
The 31-year-old joined Brackley Town from Brackley Town Saints in 2017, having started with Reading's Academy before signing on professional terms with Coventry City.
After 12 months with Scottish side St Johnstone, he then joined the Nike Academy and Loughborough University before he joined Brackley Town Saints in 2013. Ali has also had spells with Kettering Town and Corby Town.
Manager Gavin Cowan had this to say about Ali's signing “Having Ali back with us will be great news to many, none more so than myself. Ali has helped drive standards on and off the field, taking up duties of a GK coach in the second half of the season as well as his desire to play and train. Ali will work closely with staff as well as apply himself from a playing perspective in the coming season.”
See you soon Ali!
