Brackley Town are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Alastair Worby is staying at St James Park for the 2023/24 season.

The 30-year-old joined Brackley Town from Brackley Town Saints in 2017, having started with Reading's Academy before signing on professional terms with Coventry City.

After 12 months with Scottish side St Johnstone, he then joined the Nike Academy and Loughborough University before he joined Brackley Town Saints in 2013. Has also had spells with Kettering Town and Corby Town.

Manager Gavin Cowan had this to say about Ali's signing “I see part of my role as enhancing what we have here, this means improving and nurturing the heart and soul of what our club is all about. Ali’s passion for the club runs deep and he brings incredible energy to the group. I’m pleased he has agreed to remain with us for the coming season!”

See you soon Ali!
