Fabio was born in Lisbon and joined the Brackley Town academy shortly after his family moved to Bicester.

He joined the Oxford United academy as a scholar and at 16 he became the club's third-youngest player when he made his U's debut in August 2018 in a 2-0 Carabao Cup victory over Coventry City,

He signed professional a professional contract with the U's in 2018, going out on loan to Rushden & Diamonds and Biggleswade Town before joining Brackley Town in December 2021. Fabio made 8 appearances in his first season for the Saints as they went on to finish 2nd in the National League North.
