7th December 2019

Brackley Town Saints (1) Brimscombe & Thrupp (2)
Hellenic League Premier Division

Saints: Crowther, Gabbidon, Middleton L, Godfrey, Brock, Middleton (D), Ball, Godfrey, Hammond (Mister 72), Knight, McConnell

Subs not used: Dowse, Thompson

This was a far more entertaining game than the mid-week defeat to Burnham FC. For large parts of the game Saints played some attractive and entertaining football, but without really creating too many clear-cut chances. Brimscombe also had their moments throughout the match and they took advantage of a couple of lapses by Saints to take the honours and achieve their first league win of the season.

4th December 2019

Brackley Town Saints (0) Burnham FC (1)
Hellenic League Premier Division

Saints: Crowther, Gabbidon, Brock, Sherratt, Middleton (D), Hartley (Watts 46), Ball, Godfrey (McConnell 89), Knight, Hammond, Middleton L

Subs not used: Okeleke, Dowse, Brady

A bad day at the office for Saints who were second best in a game that was not much of a spectacle for the spectators on a really cold night at St James Park. Saints were passive, careless with the ball, and although they enjoyed the greater share of possession too much of it was in very deep positions in and around their own box. There were lots of passes, but many were sideways and backwards.

25th November 2019

Reading City FC (3) Brackley Town Saints (1)
Hellenic League Premier Division

Saints: Crowther, Gabbidon, Brock, Sherratt, Middleton (D), Hartley, Ball (McConnell 85), Godfrey (Kille 79), Knight, Hammond, Middleton L (Stott 45)

Sub not used: Thompson

A disappointing result for Saints who were not able to adjust as well to testing conditions as their opponents. The game had been subject to 2 pitch inspections earlier in the day which were passed in the hope that further rain would stay away. In the event heavy rainfall prior to kick off left the pitch very heavy with standing water in places. The referee judged that the pitch was playable and given that both teams had arrived at the ground his decision was understandable.

19th November 2019

Flackwell Heath FC (1) Brackley Town Saints (2)
Hellenic League Premier Division

Saints: Crowther, Middleton (D), Brock, Sherratt, Hartley, Goddard (Gabbidon 30), Ball (Kille 80), Godfrey, Knight, Hammond, Middleton L (Stott 78)

Saints continued their recent excellent form with a good all-round performance at Flackwell Heath. They were exciting in attack and resilient in defence and are now on a positive run having lost only one game in the last seven and having won the last four league games on the bounce, moving back up to 3rd place in the division.
