Kevin Wilkin takes his team to Spennymoor Town’s Brewery Field home on Saturday for only the second ever visit by a Brackley Town side.  Last season Spennymoor won 2-1 in a late season game before the sides met again in the NLN play-off semi-final.  Spennymoor joined NLN the previous season but after successive postponements the away fixture was eventually fought out on Harrogate Town’s artificial surface with Saints winning out 3-0.

The sides met earlier this season at St James Park drawing in a goal-less encounter.

Spennymoor sit 8th with Saints in 5th in a tightly contested league where just seven points separate nine teams.  A run of wins can change positions rapidly as evidenced in recent weeks by Altrincham and Boston, both now in close contention at the top.

Our Senior Cup outing at Kettering Town on Tuesday evening gave first team minutes to key players in a competitive game with some players allowed a break from the action as Saints enter a very busy few weeks of league fixtures with two midweek games to play.

If you cannot get to the game you can follow the action via the club Twitter feed with pre-match, half-time and full-time reports live from Spennymoor on BBC Radio Oxford.
