Match report Town vs Jaffa's.

On a tough wet soggy pitch and windy conditions Brackley towns played Jaffa's, in the U10s champions cup. First time we played Jaffa's, town lost 14-0 and with the boys knowing each other form school the players were looking forward to it.

Jaffa's started well, maintaining possession and keeping the ball in towns half, Town defended well, and kept Jaffa's away from the town goal, town slowly started to come into game, and now the game was even both teams wanted to play football, and build attack's, really good game lots of quality football in tricky conditions. Score was 0-0 at half time.

Jaffa's started the second half well, and kept pressure on town, with town looking to counter, Jaffa's got their breakthrough goal, the game continued in the same fashion with town looking to get their chance when Jaffa's doubles their lead, really good game both teams had chances, with town hitting post and having one cleared off of the line. Jaffa's hit town again to finish the game. Credit to both clubs and players for a entertaining game.

After the Christmas break Brackley started the game really strongly and raced into a 2.0 lead. Banbury recovered well and started to have more possession and forced the Brackley keeper into 2 great saves. Brackley made a couple of changes towards the end of the half and with some nice football scored 3 more goals before half time.

Saturday 11th Jan 2020  v  Football First Academy

Challenging day from the start.

Due to road works, and a bare 11.

Still the lads are a plucky bunch and applied themselves as best as they could, despite this.
