Brackley Town run a Junior Goalkeeping School utilising the services of experienced goalkeeping coach Pete Riches. Pete has been involved in football for many years, he himself was on the books at Manchester United at the time that Alex Stepney was the No1 there and Jimmy Rimmer the understudy.
He has worked with many clubs and varying age groups, including as Saints Goalkeeper coach with former custodian Richard Knight.
Last season Pete also worked with the clubs junior 'keepers and this is carrying on again. The first session took place at St James Park in October 2009. Since then Pete has tailored the training for each 'keeper depending on age and ability with various sessions running through the week.
Junior 'Keeper training re-commences on Monday 13th September at 6pm.
The training is open to all goalkeepers with Saints junior teams, arrangements should be made through the team managers.
Pete is also able to arrange private lessons on a one to one basis, for enquiries please contact him on 07947 387490
